Happy Monday. I hope that you all had a great weekend and for those of you who celebrated, a very happy and joyous Easter. :D
I recently entered a giveaway that was hosted by Lip Gloss Gossip. Lip Gloss Gossip is a makeup and beauty blog. The Gossip does great reviews and articles. I have been reading her blog for quite a while and when she announced a giveaway, I was all over it. And I got lucky and I won! Yippee!
I received my prize the other day and I immediately set about opening and digging into the very nicely packed package of goodies The Gossip sent to me. I forgot to take photos as I opened it but I did take some of the goodies I received.
Want to see?
Look at the yummy. A Stila In the Garden eyeshadow palette. Let me tell you, this is a lovely palette and is quickly becoming a fave. It is going to get a lot of love, this Spring and Summer! A pretty pomegranate red with goldy bronze shimmer Sephora lip gloss mini, a KP Duty hand lotion with the cutest chicken on the tube. (The lotion is nice. :D) A sample of NARS shadow primer, (good stuff!) A NYX Doll Eye mascara, Loreal nail polish in Tweet Me, two fragrance samples in Billionaire Boyfriend and Pure Vanilla, a Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti to add to my ever expanding stash of Lip butters, a Maybelline mousse blush, a cute little Sigma brush and a baby buki and a couple of mineral makeup samples.
A closer view of the shadow palette. Look at those pretty colours. All but the two lightest shades on the end are very soft and have shimmer. The end shadows are more matte and not as pigmented but nice for highlighting and overall washes of light colour. There is also a Smudge Stick liner in Starfish, a beautiful green with a tiny silver glitter.
Swatches of the shadows and the liner in the same order as you see them in the palette.
The same swatches, blended out. These are not super pigmented, if you like really kapow! like colour on your eyes, you might not love this palette. I tend to wear lighter colours, applied with a light hand and well blended so these shadows are perfect for me. The liner is smashing. It is so pretty and it applies beautifully, it is creamy and smooth and just glides onto the lid. It sets fairly quickly and once it is set, it is there. It doesn't fade, smear or transfer. That is nice, as I have hooded eyes and transfer can be a big problem for me with some liners. Not with this one.
I just want to say a big, grateful THANK YOU! to Lip Gloss Gossip, once again. I am so enjoying my goodies. <3
If you would like to add a terrific makeup and beauty blog to your lineup, may I suggest Lip Gloss Gossip? I enjoy her blog and I think that you would, too.
Thank you so much for popping in and reading. I will be back to my regularly scheduled programming tomorrow. Have a great day and may your liner never transfer. :D
